At 7:45 am on Tuesday, May 27, those facing trial and their supporters will walk in orange jumpsuits and black hoods bearing the names of Guantanamo inmates from the U.S. Supreme Court (Maryland Avenue and First Street) to the D.C. Superior Court (Carl Moultrie Court House 500 Indiana, Ave NW) where their trial will take place.

"Torture is Terrorism."
That's the theme of the vigil. According to researchers, such as Alfred McCoy (A Question of Torture) we know that the CIA has been perfecting torture techniques, as well as teaching them for decades. We believe the CIA is an important place to express our grievances and total dissent.

This vigil will remember all those who have died, and those who remain alive to suffer indefinitely and without access legal resource in Guantanamo.
