The East Providence Chapter of Amnesty International USA, Local Group 702 will host an event as part of Amnesty's campaign "86 Days to Close Guantánamo."

Jared Goldstein, Associate Professor of Law at Roger Williams University School of Law, will be the featured speaker at the event. Professor Goldstein is part of a team representing 12 Kuwaitis held as enemy combatants at the detention center. After helping to establish the detainees' right to counsel, Professor Goldstein was one of the first lawyers to visit Guantánamo Bay.
