Another excellent event in Boise sponsored by Idaho Peace Coalition, Boise Catholic Worker, ACLU of Idaho, United Action for Idaho and Veterans for Peace Chapter 117. Sixty people in attendance outside the state legislature on Friday during lunch hour. We had a cage and four prisoners. Speakers were Mia Crosswaithe from Boise Catholic Worker, Kathryn Railsback from Idaho Peace Coalition and Jack Van Valkenburgh, executive director of ACLU of Idaho. We had music and poetry as well. We marched our prisoners through the legislative building at the end of the rally. Three television stations and one newspaper came to the event.
