Witness and Vigil: Remember the Victims of Torture and Close Guantanamo [Pittsburgh]

In January of 2009 President Obama said: “Under my administration the United States does not torture. We will abide by the Geneva Conventions. We will uphold our highest ideals.” Here we are a year later and torture is still happening in places like Bagram in Afghanistan. Guantanamo prisoners have still not been released or come to trial. There is still much work to be done.
